The Village Woman's Club Foundation is the philanthropic arm of The Village Club, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The Foundation's purpose is to further educational, cultural and civic activities; to promote philanthropic projects; and, to operate for the good of the community. We work to enrich other nonprofit organizations to make a difference in the lives of individuals, families, organizations and communities.
The mission of The Village Woman's Club Foundation is to offer financial support, in the form of grants, to qualified nonprofit organizations throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Our grants focus on the interrelated aspects of community life, basic human needs and services, educational enhancement, and cultural enrichment.
The Village Woman’s Club Foundation welcomes your request for funding. In order to consider your grant request, the following information must be provided. Two full sets of your application with support material must be postmarked no later than August 1.

The Village Woman’s Club Foundation Grant Application Form.
A narrative which states the following:
Purpose of Grant:
i. Statement of specific needs/problems to be addressed by this project or program
ii. Description of target population and how they will benefit
Organization Information:
i. Brief summary of organization’s history
ii. Brief statement of organization’s mission and goals
iii. Description of current programs and accomplishments
iv. Organizational chart
v. List of Board of Directors
vi. Copy of budget listing income and expenses for this project or program
vii. Proper tax-exempt status letters (See item 1 of the Policies and Procedures)
For your information:
· Applicants will be notified of the Foundation’s decision in the spring.
· Grants from the Foundation over the past five (5) years ranged from a low of $250 to a maximum of $4,000 with the average grant being approximately $1,300.
· Requests for funds far exceed the Foundation’s ability to support every worthwhile project; therefore, the Foundation is not able to fully fund some grant requests nor is it able to provide assistance to every applicant.
· Information and forms are available and may be downloaded from The Village Club’s website at www.thevillageclub.org.
