The Village Club Today
Shortly after the Cottage was completed, it was recognized that in order to accommodate the Village Club Membership and it's needs, that the clubhouse would need a major renovation and expansion of it's facilities.
Over the next few years the scope of the project was laid out, and the renovation committee was formed to help oversee the renovation. The Capitol Fundraising committee was formed to help raise funds for the renovation, and did an outstanding job in getting pledges and making sure the monies were received.
In January of 2007, the first piece of equipment broke through the old catering office and courtyard, and the renovation was on the way. Over the next 8 months, an amazing transformation took place in the newly expanded areas and existing rooms that were being updated. The renovation committee along with house and gardens worked countless hours making sure that every detail of the renovation was thought through, and done professionally.
The Club re-opened in August of 2007, with a beautiful new facility. The newly renovated areas have helped make The Village Club the place to be, and due to the efforts of many, came in on budget.
